Christian Glöet Open 2015

Today the local hero Christian Glöet from our golf club, Mølleåen, hosted his own tournament. Christian is playing on the Challenge Tour - the second ranking tour in Europe). It was an open tournament, where everybody was welcome to sign up. Any profit will support Christian in his persue to reaching the top. Several of Christans sponsors had donated nice prices.

On one of the par 3´s Christian challenged evertbody and he was also giving support and advise to the participants. He even found some time to tell about the game and life as a professional golfer (which for sure is a tough task). Only very few get rich and famous.

The weather was partly clouded, temperature 68 degrees and windy and hence invited to the first day of the season playing in shorts. 

My season this year has so far been very fluctuating, even if I got third in a team play a couple of weeks ago. Today I did good and the rest of the field was relegated to secondary positions. The first price was pretty heavy and it was a tough task to carry it home :-)

Thanks to Christian for a well organized tournament and to the sponsors. Especially KS Tools. It was a very nice macho prize!
